Ed Leon Klinger will be chairing the panel discussion. Ed is the CEO of Flock (www.flyflock.io), a Big-Data-driven risk analytics startup that facilitates pay-as-you-fly insurance for piloted and autonomous drones. Ed recently graduated from the Cambridge MPhil in Technology Policy at the Judge Business School.

Richard Deakin is Chairman EMEA for AirMap, one of the world’s leading drone safety platforms. Prior to that, he served as the CEO of NATS as well as Senior VP of Thales Group within the Air Systems Division. Deakin is part of the new Drone Industry Action Group (IAG), which is intended to be the primary collaborative forum between the government and the drone industry.

Phillip Binks is a Solution Architect at NATS, and prior to that spent 16 years in the Royal Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Officer. Binks has had several roles at NATS including ATC Specialist and Defence ATC Strategy Lead and is one of the UK’s leading drone experts.

James Harrison is Co-founder and CEO of Sky-Futures, one of the most innovative and fast-moving drone companies on the planet. Harrison has built a drone-based inspection service which is now offered across 24+ countries worldwide, with clients including leading Oil and Gas companies such as Chevron, Shell and Petronas.
